“2010 - Getting Back to Basics”

The AWSDA Mission Statement reads in part "...ending violence against women by providing instructor training and women’s services that educate in a wide variety of self defense and rape prevention disciplines."

In an ever-changing world, the roots or foundations of organizations are often times forgotten. "2010 - Getting Back to Basics" aligns AWSDA values and Mission Statement by focusing on "Train the Trainer" courses this year. The collaboration of instructors will offer a unique blend of abilities and experiences, thereby helping each of us to achieve our goal in "providing women’s services" throughout the year. Meet the challenges and needs of women throughout the world is achievable!
